What is the humerus?

Lower leg bone

Wrist bone

Upper arm bone

The humerus is the long bone of the upper arm, running from the shoulder to the elbow. It forms the main bone of the upper limb, not part of the leg, wrist, or spine. At the shoulder, its head fits into the socket of the scapula to create the shoulder joint, and at the elbow its distal end connects with the radius and ulna to form the elbow joint. The other options point to bones outside the upper arm: the lower leg bone (tibia or fibula) is in the leg; a wrist bone (carpals) is in the wrist; and spinal vertebrae make up the spine.
